Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design has been selected to design and oversee a renovation of Little Mountain Country Club, in Concord, Ohio. Jason Straka, a principal of the award-winning design firm, will direct the project.

Virginia Costa, a senior designer and agronomist at Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design, was named an Associate Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA) at the body’s annual conference, which took place last month in Estoril, Portugal.

Dana Fry of Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design has completed the design of Royal Park I Roveri Golf Course, in Rotta Cerbiatta – Fiano (Torino), Italy. The course, which opened officially for play Oct. 24, was designed under the banner of Hurdzan/Fry Environmental Golf Course Design. The 18-hole par-72 golf course is located inside La Mandria, a regional park at the base of the Valley of Lanzo in northwest Italy. The new project joins an existing 18-hole course at I Roveri, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
