The Mountain View course at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif., was designed to be a transition between the more challenging tournament-quality desert style Firecliff course and the traditional course of wall-to-wall turfgrass, flowers and flowing water so characteristic of the Palm Springs area. The result is a golf course that is less demanding than its big brother, but is just as scenic and aesthetic.
